Peter Olney is from Napa Valley, California and has been sober for five and a half years after nearly a decade of substance use that began at age seventeen as a way to escape difficult life circumstances. At twenty-seven, he made the life-changing decision to move to Arizona and commit to recovery, completing a ninety-day inpatient program followed by six months of continued care at Holdfast Recovery. What started as a desire to stop using evolved into a meaningful pursuit of purpose, growth, and sobriety. Through his journey, Peter has grown physically, emotionally, and spiritually, strengthening his relationships and reconnecting with his faith. Today, he is deeply grateful to be part of the same recovery community that helped transform his life.
