- Short or long term disability filed where it applies
- A business owner can stay reachable without giving up a six-hour day.
You have somewhere to live
- Sober living is part of the program, not arranged separately
- Structured housing with the other men in the program
- Structured housing for the whole continuum, not just the first weeks
You are not starting over

- Stepping down is a change of schedule, not a transfer
- The men you started with are still in the room
It does not end at discharge
- Alumni keep coming back, for years

- What is an intensive outpatient program?
- IOP is structured treatment you attend during the day while living outside a hospital setting. An intensive outpatient program in Arizona at Holdfast means group therapy daily, individual therapy weekly, psychiatric care, peer support and case management, either five mornings a week or three, with sober living housing included.
- How many days a week is IOP in Arizona?
- Five mornings, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 12:00pm. There is also a three-day version of the same program for men who are working. A short clinical conversation settles which one fits.
- Can I keep working during an intensive outpatient program?
- Yes, and that is what the three-day schedule is for. Treatment is a medical matter and there are employment protections around it. Admissions helps with FMLA paperwork and, where short or long term disability applies, with filing so part of your income continues. Men running their own business work this out here.
- Where will I live during IOP?
- Sober living is included with the outpatient program rather than arranged separately. You are housed in a structured environment with the other men in the program for the whole continuum. See how sober living works.
- How long does IOP last?
- Most men spend around sixty days across PHP and IOP together, after roughly thirty days of residential treatment at AnchorPoint. Longer is available and is often the right call. Men step down when the clinical picture says they are ready.
- Do I have to do residential first?
- No. Plenty of men enter at PHP or IOP directly, particularly if they have already completed a detox or a residential stay somewhere else. A short clinical conversation settles the right level of care.
- Do you take my insurance for outpatient?
- We work with most major carriers, including UnitedHealthcare at the outpatient level. Admissions runs the verification with your carrier and comes back with what your plan covers before anyone commits to anything.
- Is there a virtual option?
- There is a virtual IOP for Arizona residents. It takes men stepping down from in-person treatment, and men who cannot attend in person because of work, school or family. Admissions works out which of those you are.

I was hesitant on coming to this facility, but I'm very glad I did. It definitely enforces the guidelines for building a structured life while having some freedom to still feel like a person. The camaraderie and brothers you make here helped with my recovery exponentially. The staff and therapists at Holdfast take your issues and needs to heart and assist to the best of their abilities.
Alec ReddingVerified Google reviewHoldfast was instrumental in getting my loved one on the road to recovery. Very thankful for the faith based approach while also applying expertise in the field of addiction and recovery. A wonderful ratio of providers to patients for one on one therapy and support. My loved one left after completing a 90 day program with a plan, community and a sponsor. A new lease on life! Our biggest thanks to Holdfast and prayers for the success of your future clients.
Dana KaupieVerified Google reviewHoldFast is a place where God restored me from the inside out. It’s more than a recovery program, it’s a Christ-centered brotherhood that helped me rebuild my life on solid ground. Through prayer, Scripture, and real accountability, I learned how to cling to God in every season and rediscovered my identity in Christ building a life of sobriety. I leave HoldFast renewed, anchored, and grateful for the grace and strength I found here, taking it one day at a time.
Scott ThibodauxVerified Google reviewCombination of Neuro Faith' Therapist, Christian based teachings. Listening and sharing each clients experiences and thoughts about we were being taught in group meetings. Also encouraged to go to AA meetings, Church and Bible Study. I haven't sobriety for 96 Days straight since i was 15. Daily prayer and meditation combined with the Hold Fast App daily reflection schedule allowed me to stay focused on my goals of God and sobriety. I knew no one in Prescott when I moved here, now I have a brotherhood and Fellowship of Men that 100% i can count on. I am currently on Step 11 and plan on Sponsoring others as well as continuing in volunteering for others needs and bringing others to sobriety. I have a beautiful new life now that. Hold Fast brought me back ty rean honest self. Thank you Staff. I am now closer with my family.
