Executive Rehab in Arizona for Working Professionals
Most of the men in this building have a job to protect. They take proper leave rather than working through it, and admissions handles the paperwork that makes the leave possible.
- FMLA and short-term disability documentation, sorted on the first call
- Your clinical file stays yours, and nothing leaves without a release you sign
- Trauma-focused therapy and psychiatric care, not amenities
- Around ninety days, stepping down, with the same team throughout

High Functioning Alcoholic Signs
The word gets used about people whose work has not slipped yet. That is the part it measures, and it is the wrong part.
The performance has never slipped, and protecting that is taking more than the job does
The first drink of the evening is load-bearing rather than social
Travel, client dinners and a demanding schedule have become the reason rather than the occasion
You have quietly set rules for yourself, and quietly moved them
The people who would notice are the people you see least

Taking the time
FMLA for Rehab, and Short-Term Disability
This is the question that decides the timing, so admissions asks it on the first call rather than after you have booked.
FMLA
Unpaid, job-protected leave where you qualify for it. Your case manager owns the paperwork once you are here, so there is somebody specific to chase rather than a department.
Short-term disability
Paid leave, where your policy covers treatment. Which of the two fits depends on your employer, and admissions will work it out with you.
What HR gets told
That you are receiving treatment and the dates. Your clinical file is not theirs, and nothing leaves here without a release you sign.
Running a business
Men who own the company usually hand off for the residential stage and pick things back up through outpatient.
Rehab for Professionals: What the Ninety Days Hold
- Around thirty to forty five days residential, then sixty days of outpatient with sober living alongside
- Two individual sessions a week with a primary therapist, plus weekly case management
- Full psychiatric evaluation, bloodwork and a physical in the first days
- You keep your phone, including overnight. It goes away in group and individual therapy
The honest version
Executive programs usually sell work access. Men here stop working for the residential stage and start again somewhere in the sixty to ninety day range, as outpatient takes over.
Treatment built around a calendar tends to be the treatment that does not hold.
Questions
Executive Rehab: Common Questions
Work, leave, what your employer is told, and what this program is not.

Admissions answers around the clock.
Call (928) 378-3599Confidential. No pressure to commit.
- Can I work while I am in treatment?
- Generally no, and we would rather be straight about that than sell you a program you would resent. Men here typically stop working for the residential stage and start again somewhere in the sixty to ninety day range as they move through IOP and outpatient. Treatment that runs around your calendar tends to be the treatment that does not work.
- How do I take the time off without losing my job?
- Most men here use FMLA or short-term disability. Admissions asks about it on the first call because it decides the timing, and once you are here your case manager owns the paperwork, so there is a named person handling it rather than a department. Which route fits depends on your employer, your tenure and your plan, so it is worth starting the conversation early.
- What does my employer actually get told?
- That you are in treatment and the dates involved, which is what the paperwork requires. Your clinical file is yours. Nothing leaves here without a release you sign, and that is the law rather than a courtesy we are extending.
- Am I a high functioning alcoholic?
- That is not a diagnosis anyone can give you from a web page, and the phrase itself does more harm than good: it describes what you have managed to protect rather than what is happening. A clinician on the phone will ask what the last six months actually looked like and tell you honestly whether it sounds like treatment. It costs nothing and it is not a commitment.
- Is this an executive or luxury program?
- It is a clinical program for men, and the men in it are largely working professionals. What you get is trauma-focused therapy, psychiatric care and a ninety day continuum rather than private rooms and concierge service. If amenities are what you are shopping for, there are places that lead with those and we are not one of them.
- I own the business. Who runs it while I am gone?
- Men who own their company usually hand off for the residential stage and take things back through outpatient. Admissions has had this conversation many times and will be realistic with you about the timeline rather than telling you what you want to hear.
- Will anyone I know be there?
- Most men here traveled in from out of state, so the room is not local. If you are in Arizona and that is a concern, say so on the call and admissions will tell you plainly rather than reassure you.
- Do I have to be a Christian?
- No. Men arrive doubting, angry at God, or with no faith at all, and nothing gets signed. The program is built on Christian ground and it is nondenominational.

I was hesitant on coming to this facility, but I'm very glad I did. It definitely enforces the guidelines for building a structured life while having some freedom to still feel like a person. The camaraderie and brothers you make here helped with my recovery exponentially. The staff and therapists at Holdfast take your issues and needs to heart and assist to the best of their abilities.
Alec ReddingVerified Google reviewHoldfast was instrumental in getting my loved one on the road to recovery. Very thankful for the faith based approach while also applying expertise in the field of addiction and recovery. A wonderful ratio of providers to patients for one on one therapy and support. My loved one left after completing a 90 day program with a plan, community and a sponsor. A new lease on life! Our biggest thanks to Holdfast and prayers for the success of your future clients.
Dana KaupieVerified Google reviewHoldFast is a place where God restored me from the inside out. It’s more than a recovery program, it’s a Christ-centered brotherhood that helped me rebuild my life on solid ground. Through prayer, Scripture, and real accountability, I learned how to cling to God in every season and rediscovered my identity in Christ building a life of sobriety. I leave HoldFast renewed, anchored, and grateful for the grace and strength I found here, taking it one day at a time.
Scott ThibodauxVerified Google reviewCombination of Neuro Faith' Therapist, Christian based teachings. Listening and sharing each clients experiences and thoughts about we were being taught in group meetings. Also encouraged to go to AA meetings, Church and Bible Study. I haven't sobriety for 96 Days straight since i was 15. Daily prayer and meditation combined with the Hold Fast App daily reflection schedule allowed me to stay focused on my goals of God and sobriety. I knew no one in Prescott when I moved here, now I have a brotherhood and Fellowship of Men that 100% i can count on. I am currently on Step 11 and plan on Sponsoring others as well as continuing in volunteering for others needs and bringing others to sobriety. I have a beautiful new life now that. Hold Fast brought me back ty rean honest self. Thank you Staff. I am now closer with my family.
