How to Get Into Rehab Here
Four steps, usually inside a day, and none of them commits you to anything. Somebody picks up the phone, including at three in the morning.
- Verification takes a name, a date of birth and the plan
- A short clinical pre-screen decides the right level of care
- Same day admission is possible when availability allows
- If we are not the right fit, admissions will tell you so

The process
The Rehab Admissions Process, Start to Finish
What actually happens, in the order it happens, rather than a funnel drawn backwards from a form.
- 01
You call, or send the form
Somebody picks up. There is no queue and no chatbot, and you can ask anything without committing to it. If you are calling about someone else, say so and the conversation adapts.
- 02
We verify the insurance
A name, a date of birth and the plan is all it takes. You get told what the benefits look like and what would be owed up front, rather than a number invented for a web page.
- 03
A clinician works out the level of care
A short pre-screen about what the last six months actually looked like. That decides residential, PHP, IOP or outpatient, and whether a detox needs to happen first.
- 04
A date, and how you get here
Most men travel in. Flights land at Phoenix Sky Harbor and someone collects you, including straight from a detox. Admissions agrees the timing before anything is booked.
Worth having to hand
A Rehab Checklist for the First Call
Less than people expect, and nothing on it stops you calling without it.
The insurance card, or just the carrier name and the member ID
A date of birth, and the full name as it appears on the policy
Roughly what has been used, how much, and when the last time was
Any diagnoses and any current prescriptions, including MAT
Whether there is a job to protect, and whether FMLA is in play
Who else needs to be part of the conversation
- What actually happens after I call?
- Three things, usually inside a day. We verify the insurance and tell you what it covers. A clinician does a short pre-screen to work out the right level of care. Then we agree a date and sort out how you get here. You are not committing to anything by making the first call.
- How quickly can I get in?
- Same day admissions are possible when availability allows, and the honest answer depends on the level of care, the verification and whether a detox is needed first. The sooner you call, the sooner any of that can start moving.
- What do I need to have ready?
- Less than people expect. The insurance details, a date of birth, and a truthful account of the last six months. Everything else can be worked out on the call, and nothing is needed in writing to start.
- What if I am calling about someone else?
- That is one call in five here. You can get the benefits checked and the level of care worked out with information you almost certainly already have. What needs his signature is a release of information before anyone discusses his care with you. The families page covers it.
- Do I have to decide on the call?
- No, and most men do not. A verification is not a commitment and neither is a pre-screen. Plenty of people call, get the answers, and ring back weeks later.
- What if you are not the right fit?
- Admissions will say so. We are not a detox, we do not take Medicare or Medicaid, and we are a men’s program. Where the answer is no, the useful thing is a pointer somewhere else rather than a call that wastes your week.

I was hesitant on coming to this facility, but I'm very glad I did. It definitely enforces the guidelines for building a structured life while having some freedom to still feel like a person. The camaraderie and brothers you make here helped with my recovery exponentially. The staff and therapists at Holdfast take your issues and needs to heart and assist to the best of their abilities.
Alec ReddingVerified Google reviewHoldfast was instrumental in getting my loved one on the road to recovery. Very thankful for the faith based approach while also applying expertise in the field of addiction and recovery. A wonderful ratio of providers to patients for one on one therapy and support. My loved one left after completing a 90 day program with a plan, community and a sponsor. A new lease on life! Our biggest thanks to Holdfast and prayers for the success of your future clients.
Dana KaupieVerified Google reviewHoldFast is a place where God restored me from the inside out. It’s more than a recovery program, it’s a Christ-centered brotherhood that helped me rebuild my life on solid ground. Through prayer, Scripture, and real accountability, I learned how to cling to God in every season and rediscovered my identity in Christ building a life of sobriety. I leave HoldFast renewed, anchored, and grateful for the grace and strength I found here, taking it one day at a time.
Scott ThibodauxVerified Google reviewCombination of Neuro Faith' Therapist, Christian based teachings. Listening and sharing each clients experiences and thoughts about we were being taught in group meetings. Also encouraged to go to AA meetings, Church and Bible Study. I haven't sobriety for 96 Days straight since i was 15. Daily prayer and meditation combined with the Hold Fast App daily reflection schedule allowed me to stay focused on my goals of God and sobriety. I knew no one in Prescott when I moved here, now I have a brotherhood and Fellowship of Men that 100% i can count on. I am currently on Step 11 and plan on Sponsoring others as well as continuing in volunteering for others needs and bringing others to sobriety. I have a beautiful new life now that. Hold Fast brought me back ty rean honest self. Thank you Staff. I am now closer with my family.

Cryss Cross CurryVerified Google reviewUnlike no other. Holdfast has been a life saving Christian based spirit filled residential treatment center based on the 12 steps. Instead of dreading the classes and meetings I look forward to all of it. The brotherhood of men here is very strong and I’m healing Godspeed.
