Miriam Glade

Therapist/ Group Facilitator

Miriam grew up very multi-cultural and chose professions (Graphic Designer, BA in Human Development with an emphasis in Life transitions - therapeutic wilderness counselor, group facilitator and addiction counselor ) that allowed her to live and work in South Africa, The Netherlands, Germany, and the USA. Miriam worked in an AIDS orphanage in South Africa, as a youth service counselor in a domestic violence shelter in Alaska, as a therapeutic wilderness guide/counselor in many USA national parks, as social support teacher in a school for kids with behavior issues in Germany and in addiction recovery rooms in Arizona. Miriam volunteers for the Arizona Crisis Team and is trained in Critical Incident Stress management Group and Individual Crisis Intervention.

All this travel and living in different cultures has enriched Miriam’s worldview and deepened her love for adventure, culture, people of all backgrounds, and the importance of the moment. Her unconditional love for her two children, her family and friends that stood the test of time and distance fill her with purpose and believe in the importance of connection. She finds God in nature and in the heart of every living creature.
